History and Founder
Joni Hubred-Golden founded Farmington Voice in 2014 as a local news publication serving Farmington and Farmington Hills. The site developed as a community news source under the Farmington Voice name and domain. In 2026, Farmington Voice was relaunched under new ownership and a new editorial team, with Ethan Mercer as owner, publisher and editor, continuing the site's established local-news mission.
