Youth can go behind the scenes at Farmington Hills PD

The Farmington Hills Police Department and Youth Assistance offer kids ages 8 to 18 the chance to go “behind the scenes” and learn what goes on at the Farmington Hills Police Department.

Participants in Youth Career Day, held Saturday, June 30,  at Police Headquarters, 31655 W. 11 Mile Rd., will:

  • Lift fingerprints with evidence technicians
  • Try out the MILO (Multiple Interactive Learning Objectives) training simulation system
  • Watch a K-9 police dog demonstration
  • Speak one-on-one with police officers

This event is open to students who live in Farmington Hills or Farmington. The program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for ages 8 to 12, and again from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for ages 13 to 18.
