Your guide to Farmington’s Halloween Fun Fest

Downtown Farmington is gearing up to welcome hundreds of trick-or-treaters during the Saturday, October 27 Halloween Fun Fest.

Activities start with the opening of the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market and continue throughout the day:

Haunted Market, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

The final market of this season will have costumed vendors, free pie pumpkins for decorating, a bounce house, artisan pumpkin carving, a cooking demo, story time puppets, and more. Find the market at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion and Riley Park on Grand River in downtown Farmington. Learn more at

Halloween Story Time, 11 a.m.

Stop by the Farmington branch library, 23500 Liberty St., for fun, not-so-scary stories, crafts and activities.

Free movie, 12 p.m.-2 p.m.

See “Trolls” and have the chance to win door prizes at the Farmington Civic Theater, 33332 Grand River.

Trick-or-treat, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Bring your costumed kids downtown for treats. Look for balloons and signs in the windows of participating downtown businesses.
