There’s probably a Farmington Goodfellows collection box near you

If you’re looking for a place to drop off donations for the Farmington Area Goodfellows annual Holiday Assistance Program, chances are there’s a collection box near you.

With a mission of “No Child or Senior Without a Christmas,” the Goodfellows help hundreds of families and senior households by delivering over 30,000 non-perishable food and gift items each year.  Collection boxes accepting donations of canned or boxed foods, personal care items, new books, and unwrapped new toys until December 15 are located at:

  • Farmington City Hall, 23600 Liberty Street
  • Farmington Community Library Farmington branch, 23500 Liberty Street

In addition, collection boxes will also located at all Farmington Public Schools through November 22.

Monetary donations may be sent to: Farmington Area Goodfellows, 31455 W. 11 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48336.

All collected items will be stored and assembled in baskets at the Goodfellows 2018 headquarters, 38855 Hills Tech Drive, which opens the Monday after Thanksgiving. To volunteer on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 16 for Delivery Day, call 248-986-1111 or sign up at
