The Shy brings acoustic rock to Farmington’s Riley Park

The Shy, an acoustic rock band with a Motor City beat, performs the penultimate Rhythmz in Riley Park concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 17.

The band’s repertoire includes cover tunes by R.E.M., the Beatles, the Smiths, Creedence Clearwater Revival, plus some strong original songs, delivered with a refreshing energy and enthusiasm. Learn more at

Riley Park and the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion are located at Grove and Grand River, in the heart of downtown Farmington. Bring a chair or blanket and picnic dinner, or pick up something to eat at downtown Farmington restaurants.
