Tell Farmington Schools officials what you want in a superintendent

As Farmington Public Schools trustees begin the search for a new superintendent, they’re asking district residents to tell them what qualities, experiences, and skills they’d like to see in their new leader.

Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) representatives Donna Oser, Rod Green, and Jay Bennett are assisting with the search. Oser will facilitate in person meetings, and anyone interested may also participate in an online survey:

Anonymous survey responses and those from the face-to-face meetings will be shared with district officials as they develop candidate selection criteria. The survey will close at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26.

Current Superintendent Dr. George Heitsch will retire on July 1.
