Talk about privilege, gender, and more at Farmington Schools dialogues

Farmington Public Schools will host a series of evening workshops over the next several weeks, with the goal of increasing understanding of different perspectives and how our experiences shape our thoughts and actions.

“Community Dialogues” examine privilege, prejudice, bias, and “isms”. Each session will include a video and opportunities for conversation. While this is a series, you do not have to attend all sessions to benefit. Registration is not necessary.

The workshops will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Maxfield Education Center at 32789 W. 10 Mile Rd., Farmington, on these dates:

  • Wednesday, January 30 – Privilege & Power
  • Wednesday, February 6 – Gender Spectrum
  • Thursday, March 7 – Race
  • Thursday, March 28 – Diversity in Faith
