Have you ever wondered what Heritage Park in Farmington Hills looks like after the sun goes down?
Listen for nocturnal animals, observe the night sky, and heighten your senses during Full Moon Friday Night Hikes, held on Fridays closest to the full moon – June 29, July 27, and August 24 – from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Hikes are designed for ages five and up.
Meet at the Nature Center; cost is $3 per person. You can pre-register at the Costick Center or at recreg.fhgov.com or pay at the door on the night of the program; however, space is limited. In case of inclement weather, the hike will be canceled and prepaid fees refunded.
