More than 300 Farmington area DTE customers lost power Tuesday evening, as a line of strong storms blew through the area.
DTE originally estimated most customers would have their power restored by 11 p.m. Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, that estimate stretched to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. In all, 36,000 metro Detroit customers lost power in the storm.
The largest areas affected are south of 10 Mile, between Power Road and Orchard Lake Road, and south of Shiawassee, between Purdue and Hawthorn. Farmington Voice Facebook fans reported downed limbs, downed wires, and other storm damage.
