State high school group honors Farmington High bowling coach

Farmington High bowling coach Dennis Hermani has been named Coach of the Year by the Michigan High School Athletic Coaches Association (MHSCA).

The award was presented to Dennis at the MHSCA Winter Awards Luncheon, in which more than 28 coaches and athletic directors participated. Coach of the Year selections are based on the program performance, and/or contribution to the sport, school, and community.

Hermani began his teaching career in 2000 at Farmington High. He was hired as a bowling coach in 2002 and has been the boys’ bowling coach ever since. He holds a Master’s Degree and Michigan Professional Education Certificate.

“We are thrilled that Dennis was recognized for his dedication and commitment to the sport,” Linda  Fox, Farmington Schools athletic director, said in a press release.
