Four candidates have met the July 24 filing deadline to run for two, 6-year Farmington Public Schools (FPS) Board of Education seats open in November.

Trustee David Turner did not file for re-election. After his appointment in September of 2015, he was elected to a 2-year term in November 2016. He served as the 2017-2018 board president.
Mark Przeslawski’s name will be on the ballot; he won a two-year term in 2016 and currently serves as board treasurer.
Newcomers include retired FPS principal Pamela S. Green, Jeff Grynaviski, and Zach Rich.
