Farmington Youth Assistance and Farmington SAFE (Suicide Awareness for Everyone) will co-host a Monday, March 19 showing of “Screenagers,” a documentary about kids and “tech time,” at the Farmington Civic Theater.
The documentary includes insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, and offers solutions for empowering kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.
After viewing the film, parents and students are invited to participate in a conversation about the impact of the digital age and screen time on our children as well as how to help minimize harmful effects and find balance.
This 7 p.m. showing is free and open to public, no need to RSVP. Appropriate for adults and children 10 and older, and lasts approximately 67 minutes.
The Farmington Civic Theater is located at 33332 Grand River, Farmington.
