Philharmonic holiday concert set in Farmington Hills

Orchard Lake Philharmonic will present “Music for the Holidays,” with two performances on Friday December 7, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Farmington, 26165 Farmington Road, Farmington Hills.

Under the direction of Norman A. Logan, the ensemble will perform Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride”, “Pendima” by Logan (with string bass soloist Kevin Balint), Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel Overture”, Britten’s “Simple Symphony”, Silvestry’s “The Polar Express”, and Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas”.
