Oakland Dance Festival moves to Farmington High

A premiere dance festival previously held at Harrison High School moves to Farmington High this year, with two showcase concerts open to the public.

On November 23, the Oakland Dance Festival, open to serious dancers ages 13-19, offers master classes, on-site recruitment and auditions for juniors and seniors, a college fair, and performance opportunities. Registration has closed for students.

The Professional Showcase concert takes place at 12:45 p.m.; the College Showcase, at 7 p.m. The concerts will feature special performances by the college dance departments, professional companies, and high school students selected during the Performance Evaluation and Feedback process.
