New Farmington shop focuses on ‘Care By Design’

A new shop in downtown Farmington’s Village Commons shopping center offers a line of cannabidiol (CBD) and hemp-based products, as well as weekly community education events.

Care By Design Health and Wellness Market officially opened on Thursday. In a press release, shop owners said the company’s roots lie in a struggle with health issues and the confusing search for optional remedies.

“The solution to the problem was simple yet revolutionary: to create a space where people can come to find options to support their health goals with great products and education.

“When you buy a product from us, you are part of a mission to provide overall support to local small businesses and communities. Care By Design and its founders are very active in local non-profits with volunteering and funding… Care By Design Health and Wellness is passionate about inspiring people to help make tomorrow better, encouraging them to include giving in everything they do. Our hope is to see a future full of social and community-driven mindset businesses and consumers.”

The first Care By Design Health and Wellness community education event, held on Wednesday, August 7, 6-8 p.m., will focus on managing joint pain with CBD. Each Wednesday class will have a different educational topic, and all sessions are free and open to the public.
