Four new Farmington Hills officials will be sworn in on Monday, at the beginning of the City Council regular meeting.
Newly elected mayor Vicki Barnett, and council members Jackie Boleware, Ken Massey, and Mary Ellen Newlin will take their oaths of office at around 7:30 p.m. They join sitting council members Michael Bridges, Randy Bruce, Valerie Knol, and Samantha Steckloff.
Also on the meeting agenda, a proclamation recognizing November 11, 2019 as Veterans Day, and a public hearing for the proposed development of 10 single family homes on the former Kendallwood Swim Club site, a 3.8 acre property near the southeast corner of 13 Mile and Farmington Roads. The detached units will be located on a private cul-de-sac.
