The Farmington Planning Commission on Monday will take a look at plans to bring a Burger King restaurant to the former Paramount Health building on Grand River, west of Orchard Lake Road.
A Burger King located farther west on Grand River closed in December.
The new 3,000-square-foot, one-story restaurant would sit at the intersection of Lakeway and Grand River. Plans show drive-through traffic queued on the west side, with a masonry wall and landscaping buffer for homes to the north.
Commissioners will consider setting a public hearing for the project. They’ll also set a public hearing for the city’s draft 2018-2019 Master Plan update.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the council chamber at City Hall, 23600 Liberty St. The full agenda and supporting materials are posted at farmgov.com/City-Services/Government/Agendas-and-Minutes/Planning/2019.aspx
