Meet three new Farmington Hills police officers

Farmington Hills Police Department welcomed these three new officers during a swearing-in ceremony held September 18 at the Farmington Hills Police Department:

Officer Brian Vogel graduated from the Dallas Police Academy in June 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago and multiple undergraduate certifications from Dallas County Community College. During his 10 years with the Dallas Police Department, Vogel worked as a Sergeant in the Youth Services and Property Units, Detective in the Child Exploitation Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Field Training Officer, and Police Officer assigned to the Northeast Patrol District. Officer Vogel honorably served in the Army Reserve for 10 years.

Jon Aldred for Farmington Hills City Council

Officer Jessika Bragole previously served as a Police Cadet with the Holland Police Department and as a Student Dispatcher with the Grand Valley State University Police Department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Grand Valley State University and graduated from the Grand Valley State University Police Academy in August. She honorably serves in the Army National Guard.

Officer Andrew Davenport holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Washtenaw Community College and recently graduated from the Washtenaw Police Academy. Davenport spent several years as a Construction Specialist for a family owned and operated construction company.

All three officers are currently assigned to the Patrol Division of the Operations Bureau as part of the department’s Field Training program.
