The Farmington Civic Theater is proud to host the Michigan premiere of Loopers: The Caddie’s Long Walk Thursday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. It’s the most thorough, feature-length film documentary ever produced on golf’s historic caddie profession. Comedian-actor Bill Murray, once a caddie himself and star of the classic Caddyshack, narrates Loopers. Murray and his brothers are in the Caddie Hall of Fame.
The premiere is a fundraiser for the Evans Scholars Foundation in partnership with the University of Michigan Evans Scholars and Michigan State University Evans Scholars. More than 850 caddies attend college each year as Evans Scholars. The foundation was established in 1930 by golf great Charles “Chick” Evans Jr.
