This fourth annual extravaganza will feature a power-packed concert showcases a variety of soulful and high-energy performers from Metro Detroit including Funaach, Asmi, Taal, Profusion, Mirayafit, Taj Cottage, Reflections, and ASD Bhangra.

“Just like every year, this concert will be full of upbeat performances, however the one difference is that we are doing this FOR the Youth, WITH the Youth,” explained performance coordinator Amit Deshpande. “We are working with professional teams led by young and talented college choreographers, plus we have also partnered with one of the leading modeling agencies in town and will be presenting a fashion show as part of the concert.”

The Indian Musical Extravaganza will incorporate dances that originated in different areas of India (Bhangra from Punjab, Garba from Gujarat, Lavani from Maharashtra, etc.) and will also include popular Bollywood film industry hits.

Attendees who are 21 years or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license may enter a drawing for use of a Mercedes-Benz for one week. Sign up at the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services vehicle display during each concert. Winners will be announced at the July 11 and August 15 concerts.

Show cancellation or location change announcements will be recorded on the Cultural Arts hotline, 248-473-1848, no later than 5 p.m. on the day of the concert.
