HomeSnacks lists Farmington as Michigan’s 9th best place to live

HomeSnacks, a company that creates bite-sized studies of communities across the U.S., has named Farmington the 9th best place to live in Michigan this year.

The report takes into account employment, housing, amenities, safety, diversity, and other factors, ranking cities on a 1-10 scale. Farmington earned an overall score of 7.5, and made the list “thanks to a strong showing in unemployment rate (25th overall) and things to do.”

“The area is known for its historic downtown, elegant Victorian-style homes, and one of Michigan’s top rated public school systems, Farmington Public Schools,” the website noted, also citing investment and innovation in downtown Farmington.
