Hills Police to host career day for Farmington area youth

Local young people interested in a law enforcement career will have the opportunity to talk with officers and get hands-on experience during an August 5 Youth Career Day at the Farmington Hills Police Department.

Co-hosted by Farmington Youth Assistance, the event runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and is open only to Farmington and Farmington Hills residents ages 12 to 18. Activities will include interactive simulator training, lifting fingerprints with evidence techs, a demonstration with K-9 officer Argos, and mock arrests and processing.
