Here’s your downtown Farmington Halloween Fun line-up

Downtown Farmington celebrates Halloween a little early, with a day of fun on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Here’s Saturday’s line-up:

Haunted Farmington Farmers Market

9 a.m.-2 p.m., Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion and Riley Park. Look for costumed vendors, free pumpkin painting (while supplies last), a bounce house, music with Sinjon Smith, and a chef’s demo with Dan Maier from Novi’s Providence Hospital.

Story time at the library

11 a.m., Farmington Community Library Farmington branch, 23500 Liberty St. Kids are invited to enjoy some not-so-scary stories, crafts and activities.

Free movie

12 p.m., Farmington Civic Theater, 33332 Grand River. The theater hosts a free showing of “Monsters, Inc.” and a raffle drawing for prizes.

Trick-or-treating & Halloween fun house

2 p.m.-4 p.m. Participating Downtown Farmington businesses (look for balloons) will welcome costumed trick-or-treaters, and Earned Not Given Crossfit’s Halloween fun house will be open on the east side of The Groves shopping center.
