Free movies at the Farmington Civic Theater – Saturday, Dec. 2
During the downtown Farmington Holly Days Celebration, enjoy a free movie with the donation of a new toy, batteries, new book, non-perishable boxed/canned food items (expiration 2018 or later) or a cash donation. Enjoy a showing of “The Polar Express,” 10 a.m. and noon, and the 26-minute short “Shrek the Halls,” 10:15 a.m., 11:15a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Also, 50 percent of concession purchases will be donated to the Goodfellows.

The “Battle of the Middles XIII” Basketball Game – Friday, Dec. 8
Teachers and administrators from Farmington Public Schools middle schools will face off in the Harrison High gym, 29995 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, at 5:45 p.m. Discounted or free admission with donation of a new, unwrapped toy or nonperishable food items.
Figure Skating Club Holiday Show – Saturday, Dec. 9
Watch the area’s best young skaters during this 5 p.m. show at the Farmington Ice Arena, 35500 W. Eight Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Bring a new, unwrapped toy or book, canned goods, cash or a check made out to Farmington Area Goodfellows.
