The 15th annual Harvest Moon celebration opens Thursday in downtown Farmington, with wine and beer tasting, food samplings from local restaurants, music and dancing.

Held September 19-21 in Riley Park and the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion, 33113 Grand River, this year’s schedule of events includes:
Thursday, September 19, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Music by Robin Horlock, craft beer and wine tasting, food served up by Dagwood’s Deli and Catering, Page’s Food & Spirits, Pietrzyk Pierogi.
Friday, September 20, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Harvest Moon Dance, music by Northville Folk, craft beer and wine tasting, Taste of Farmington with John Cowley & Sons, Basement Burger Bar – Farmington, Browndog Barlor, Page’s Food & Spirits, Dagwood’s Deli and Catering, and Blue Hat Coffee.
Saturday, September 21, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Start your day with the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market annual Harvest Market, featuring the best Michigan products and produce, music by Sinjon Smith, and a special cooking demo. Look for vendors on the street in front of Starbucks, which will be closed for the market.
Saturday, September 21, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
New this year is the Harvest Party, an extra night of music, food, and fun. Atomic Radio performs; food vendors include Rolling Stoves, Blue Hat Coffee, Dagwood’s Deli, John Cowley & Sons, and Page’s Food & Spirits.
Tickets for the Harvest Moon Celebration can be purchased at the door for $8 or in advance for $6 at John Cowley & Sons, The Vines, Merle Norman Cosmetics, and Meadows Fine Wine & Liquor.
