Anyone interested in volunteering for the Harvest Moon celebration is invited to a rally held Tuesday, August 20, 6 p.m., at Riley Park in downtown Farmington.
Organized by the Farmington Downtown Development Authority, the three-day fall festival includes live music and dancing, adult beverages, and great food. Highlights from this year’s event, held September 19-21 at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion and Riley Park, include:
- Thursday, 6-11 p.m.: Music by Robin Horlock, food trucks, craft beer and wine tasting
- Friday, 6-11 p.m.: Music by The Northville Folk, fare from local vendors, craft beer and wine tasting
- Saturday, 6-11 p.m.: Music by Atomic Radio, food trucks, craft beer and wine tasting
Also on Saturday, the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market offers its annual Harvest Market, featuring family activities and a full complement of Michigan produce and products. Hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
