Got a Farmington area teen looking for work?

Teens ages 14-19 looking for summer work are welcome to attend a meeting on Wednesday, June 5 at the Farmington Community Library Main Library in Farmington Hills.

Coordinator Diane Powell is meeting with young people starting at 4:30 p.m. in Conference Room A at the library, 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd. In the past, her teens have done yard work, cleaned out garages, weeded garden beds.

Powell said teens are also willing to help out older residents and give them a hand with gardening and yard work. “My young teens want to help beautify the community,” she said.
