The Farmington Elks Club will serve up coal-roasted corn for a “buck an ear” during the August 18 Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market in downtown Farmington.
Held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion and Riley Park, this week’s market also hosts a Kids’ STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) Day with robotics teams from Kenbrook Elementary and Warner Middle School, face painting, and live music with Elks Club member Larry Arbour.
Spend $20 at any downtown store or restaurant on market day, bring your receipts to the Information tent on the south side of the pavilion, and pick up a limited edition jute market bag. You can also sign up at the tent for the weekly market basket giveaway.
