Funeral home, shopping center win Farmington Hills beautification awards

The Farmington Hills Beautification Commission singled out two local businesses for special recognition during its 2019 awards reception, held at the Costick Center on Thursday, October 24.

The annual event honors businesses, organizations, and residential properties that make Farmington Hills a more beautiful place to live and work. In all, 73 were recognized for outstanding landscape design and originality.

McCabe Funeral Home
McCabe Funeral Home (City of Farmington Hills)

The Beautification Commissioners’ Award went to McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., for its expansive landscape renovation and beautifully maintained grounds.

Hunters Square
Hunters Square (City of Farmington Hills)

Connor Osborn, Executive Director of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, honored Hunters Square Shopping Center, located at the corner of 14 Mile and Orchard Lake Roads, with the Chamber Award, for its impressive landscaping.
