Free Thursday concert showcases Indian music, dance

This week’s Stars in the Park concert at Heritage Park will showcase high-energy performances by Indian Artists of Metro Detroit.

Reflections, Funaach Academy of Dance, Asmi Dance Academy, Taal Academy, and the Profusion Dance Troupe will perform on Thursday, June 28, 7 p.m., at the park’s amphitheater. Admission and parking are free.

Due to the large size of the show and the total number of performers, this concert cannot be held indoors and will be canceled in case of inclement weather. Call 248-473-1848 after 5 p.m. on the day of the concert for show updates.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, the exclusive sponsor of the summer concerts, will offer two random raffle drawings for concert goers to win a Mercedes-Benz driving experience. Attendees (21 years or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license) may enter by visiting the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services vehicle display during each concert. The winners will be announced at the July 12 and August 16 concerts.
