The Farmington Winter Artisans Market will open for the season on Saturday, Nov. 18, with live music and vendors selling Michigan-made products.
Open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the market is celebrating its second year in the Masonic Hall, 23715 Farmington Rd. It will be open weekly through December 23.
Penny Oglesby, who took over the smaller version of the spring-to-fall Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market several years ago, said about 15 vendors will be present on Saturday, selling everything from pillows and soaps to baked goods. Benny Jet will perform during the day.
First housed in a small business space, the Winter Market moved to the Old Winery/Powerhouse building in 2011, then to the American Legion Hall on Grand River before finding a home at the Masonic last year. Learn more about the market on Facebook.
