Farmington Schools to sell sewing machines June 9

Farmington Public Schools will host a “garage sale” at Farmington High School on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with more than 50 Bernia sewing machines and their accompanying supplies offered for sale.

The machines have not been used by the school for the past three years.

The Bernia Activa machines are at least 15 years old. They are no longer manufactured, but you can have them serviced. Each machine will be listed for $50. The Bernina 1008 machines are approximately 10 years old and will be listed for $100.

There will be other items from the school store available for purchase. Sales are first-come, first-served; purchases are cash and carry only. All items sold in “as is” condition. Loading of all items must be done by the purchaser. No other pick up dates or times will be offered.

The sale will be held at in Room 103 at Farmington High School, 32000 Shiawassee St., Farmington.
