Several Farmington Public Schools’ students received awards at the 2019 State of Michigan PTA Reflections Contest.

Last fall, students in Pre-K through 12th grade submitted original projects in six categories: Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Production. Projects were judged at the school and district levels before submission to the state judges in February 2019.
This year’s theme was “Heroes Around Me.” Contestants were required to submit original works, a description of the work, and how it related to the theme.
Several of the Farmington Schools state winners moved on to national competition; winners at that level will be recognized at the 2019 National PTA Convention and Expo, June 20-23, in Columbus, Ohio.
