Farmington Schools hosts free summer meals program

Farmington Public Schools will sponsor a “Meet Up and Eat Up” summer food service program that provides free meals for children and young adults who have physical or mental disabilities.

The program is open to those 18 years of age and under or those up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a state or local public educational agency. Children need not be enrolled in summer camp or programs to attend.

Summer Food program

Meals will be offered at Visions Unlimited, 33000 Freedom Rd. in Farmington, from July 10-August 16, 2018. Breakfast is served 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. and lunch, 10:30 a.m. -12 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Adult meals will also be offered for $3. Dates and times are subject to change.
