Farmington Schools football players earn Academic All-State honors

The Michigan High School Football Coaches Association (MHSFCA) has recognized 27 student athletes as Academic All-State “Dream Teamers,” including Harrison High School’s Christopher Rexroth.

In addition, two Farmington Public Schools students have been named to the 2017 Individual Academic All-State Honorable Mention list: Chandler Coultrip, Farmington High School, and Lynn Lerner, North Farmington High School.

In order to be nominated for the Individual Academic All-State Award, the player must be a senior, a starter or key reserve varsity football player, have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5, have a composite score of 25 on the ACT, and the player’s head coach must be a current member of the MHSFCA.
