Farmington Public Safety investigators have asked for the public’s help in their search for a woman who may be connected to a vehicle break-in last month.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the incident happened around 7 a.m. on November 8 in the parking lot of a Farmington business. The victim’s information was later used to cash checks that had been stolen from other vehicles in metro Detroit and Indiana.
Police shared photos from banks in Southgate, Taylor and Trenton where the checks were cashed. The suspect’s appearance is similar to that of a woman who cashed checks stolen from a car parked at the same Farmington business in November of 2015.

Anyone with information should contact Detective William Wood at 248-474-5500, ext. 2239.
