The release noted that investigators interviewed “numerous witnesses” and collected evidence that linked joiner to the crime. At his arraignment in 47th District Court, he entered a “not guilty” plea to a charge of Armed Robbery, a felony punishable by life in prison, and remains in the Oakland County jail with no bond. His next scheduled court appearance is Oct. 9.

“We are grateful that a dangerous man has been taken off the street,” Farmington Public Safety Director Frank Demers said. “The investigators assigned to this case served numerous search warrants and conducted relentless follow-up and assessment to secure charges against the defendant.”
