Farmington officials hear audit presentation Monday

Farmington city council members will on Monday review the city’s annual audit and approve plans for winter special events during a study session and regular meeting held at City Hall.

Representatives from Plante Moran will first present the city’s annual audit during a 6 p.m. study session. Council members will also discuss increasing compensation for the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market market master and Farmington Civic Theater manager.

During the 7 p.m. regular meeting, Plante Moran will make a second presentation, and officials will consider special event permits for the Light Up the Grand parade, slated December 1, and the annual Farmington Winter Artisans Market, held Saturdays, Nov. 24, Dec. 1,
8, 15, and 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Masonic Hall, 34002 Grand River.

Officials will also hold a public hearing for the city’s Community Development Block Grant Application; the $23, 677 in federal funds typically pay for senior citizens programming provided by the City of Farmington Hills.
