Listen to live jazz on Thursday, June 14, as the Governor Warner Mansion in Farmington hosts a Porch Party featuring the music of the STM Jazz Quartet.
Held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the event will be held at the city-owned house museum built in 1867 by Farmington pioneer P.D. Warner. The home was later occupied by P.D.’s son, Fred M. Warner, Michigan’s only three-term governor.
Admission to the party, with refreshments that include ice cream sundaes, is $5. Children ages 8 and under are admitted free.
Two more porch parties are scheduled this season:
- July 19 – Founders Festival kick-off, family style
- August 16 – Floats and Farmington History, with ice cream floats and the Peace Jubilee Brass Band
