Farmington, Hills officials bowl it out at remodeled Country Lanes

Farmington and Farmington Hills mayors Steven Schneemann and Ken Massey will lead their colleagues in a friendly bowling competition November 29 at Country Lanes in Farmington Hills.

The bowling center has been operated by pro shop owners Aleta Sill and Michelle Mullen since the unexpected death of long-time owner Jim Hamlin in April. Renovations completed this year include 32 new lanes, a new game room, upgraded sports and snack bars, along with building improvements.

The facility’s new look will be celebrated with a Greater Farmington Area Chamber ribbon cutting at 4:45 p.m.; the cross-town bowling match follows. Donations will be accepted for the Michigan Animal Welfare Foundation, co-founded by Sills and Mullen.
