Farmington Hills Nature Center offers free drop-in program

The Nature Center in Heritage park will offer free, drop-in summer nature programs through August 29 for kids of all ages.

No registration is required; however participation is limited to the first 25 people. While programs are free of charge, donations are always welcome. These programs meet in the Nature Center and last approximately 30 to 45 minutes:

• Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. – Nature Time with the Heavner Canoe Staff

• Wednesdays at 2 p.m. – Scavenger Hunts

• Thursdays at 2 p.m. – Nature Makerspace

In addition to Nature Programs and exploring the Nature Center, Heritage Park offers a splash pad, a nature walk, playgrounds, an interactive Nature Discovery Trail, and Archery Range.
