Farmington Hills Police on Monday asked for help identifying a vehicle and potential witnesses in a November 10 shooting at the Lush Hookah Lounge parking lot on Orchard Lake Road between 12 and 13 Mile Roads.
According to a press release, the department was notified at around 2 a.m. that someone shot at an unknown hookah lounge had been taken to a local hospital. Officers checked area businesses, discovered the location, and learned that gunfire had damaged several other closed businesses.
The victim is being treated in a local hospital and is expected to survive, the release noted.
Police believe a dispute among a group of people ended in gunfire, and that this was not a random incident. Investigators have released photos in the hope of identifying a dark SUV (sport utility vehicle) and possible witnesses photographed near the time of the shooting.
