Farmington Hills council votes on tax-forfeited land sale

Farmington Hills city council members will on Monday consider whether to sell a parcel of land that the city received through tax forfeiture.

According to an agenda memo, the city approached Paul Buchanan Group LLC about purchasing the vacant parcel on Albion near Grand River. It sits right behind the company’s Generations Funeral & Cremation Services building.

Other items on the 7:30 p.m. agenda include a presentation from the Miss Oakland County program and legislative updates from State Rep. Christine Greig and State Sen. Jeremy Moss.

Officials will meet in council chambers at City Hall, 31555 W. 11 Mile Rd. The full agenda is posted at fhgov.com.
