Farmington Hills-based orchestra opens 13th season

Farmington Hills-based Orchard Lake Philharmonic will open its 13th season with “Musical Harvest”, a program of classic and contemporary composers, on Friday, October 25, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 W. 10 Mile Road in Novi. 

Under the direction of Norman A. Logan, the orchestra’s program will feature Mozart’s “Overture to The Magic Flute”, Beethoven’s “Piano Concerto #3”, third movement with Soloist Soo Choe, Holst’s “Brook Green Suite”, “Danse Macabre” by Saint-Saens, and highlights from “Wicked” by Stephen Swartz.
