Farmington Founders Festival road closures set

Grand River will close between Orchard Lake and Shiawassee on July 20 for the annual Greater Farmington Founders Festival parade and LOC Federal Color Run.

The closure begins at 8:30 a.m., and the area re-opens around noon.

The LOC Color Run and Founders Festival parade happen rain or shine.

The Color Run starts in Shiawassee Park at 9 a.m. The parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Grand River and Power Road and moves west to Liberty Street. This year’s theme is “Animated Adventures”.

Detours will include Shiawassee, M-5, and Freedom Roads.
