In addition to singing and songwriting, Olivia plays ukulele, guitar and piano. Her band will accompany her for the Friday concert.

Special guest Jason Longuski from Livonia was drawn to music from a young age. He loves songwriting and performing and has played with the popular Detroit-area bands Summerwake, Satellites Over Moscow and The Split.

Singer-songwriter Sami Mei, a standout of Axis Music Academy, opens the evening with a strong voice that’s a perfect fit for her upbeat arrangements. She blends pop and rock with a bit of jazz and soul mixed in at times.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. concert are available in advance at the Farmington Civic Theater box office or at the door for $12. Cash only. The theater is located at 33332 Grand River Ave. Learn more on the theater’s Facebook page.
