Local voters elected city officials on November 5, with incumbents sweeping the field in Farmington and a mix of experienced and new officials winning in Farmington Hills.
Both communities overwhelmingly approved renewal of an Oakland Community College operating millage, the only other issue on most ballots, with precincts reporting 70-80 percent support. The measure also passed by wide margins across Oakland County.

Theresa Rich was the only declared write-in candidate; 4,091 “unassigned write-in” votes were reported.
