Michigan State Fair

Michigan State Fair Memories presentation

Christopher Lock, a metro Detroit native and prolific author with 15 additional works, including those covering historic Dearborn and WKBD-TV, will talk about the Michigan State Fair. The traditional event held at the end of summer showcases the pride of the Great Lakes State—its agricultural importance, its livestock, and its home-based products. This book is a historical tribute to those fairs held at Michigan State Fairgrounds: the architecture, the giant produce, the livestock, the Midway, and the excitement every kid relished before heading back to school.
