Farmington Rotary: John Nanni, polio survivor

Speaker at this virtual meeting is John Nanni is the Rotary District 7630 PolioPlus Chair, a polio survivor, team member for World’s Greatest Meal to Help End Polio and board member of Polio Network of NJ Support Group.

As District 7630 PolioPlus Chair and a polio survivor, John’s goal is to raise awareness and funds for Rotary’s PolioPlus efforts to eradicate polio worldwide. Paralyzed from his neck down for six months just prior to the Salk Vaccine major testing, he now uses a wheelchair for most of his daily mobility due to severe Post-Polio Syndrome issues.
