Election Day and more this week in Farmington

Voters in Farmington and Farmington Hills go to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 7 to pick new leaders. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 8, 6 p.m., Police Headquarters, 31655 W. 11 Mile Rd. Pet owners (pets do not attend) learn how to observe suspicious activities or criminal behavior, find out what type of information the Police Department is seeking, and how to report it. To register or learn more, contact the Crime Prevention Section at 248-871-2750 or write to crimeprevention@fhgov.com.

Appreciation for Veterans

Thursday, Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m., Farmington Community Library Farmington branch. Show appreciation for our veterans by writing letters and creating decorations for a special “Thank you, Veterans” display. Local veterans have been invited to attend. For ages 10-18. Registration is requested, but drop-ins are welcome.

Thursday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m. Farmington City Hall, 23600 Liberty St. Meet your neighbors and learn more about what is happening in the Farmington Public Safety Department.

Stars and Stripes Forever

Friday, Nov.10, 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Salute veterans at this annual commemoration of those who served our country. Complimentary admission offered to veterans residing in Farmington Hills and Farmington, must pre-register in Conway Hall by Nov. 6. Call 248-473-1830 to learn more.
